Girls Go Golfing Alumnus, Former HC Red Devil & Gettysburg Freshman Nicole Pertrocchi Shoots Season low in Opening Round of the NCAA Division 111 Championship

Nicole Petrocchi carded a season low on the opening day at nationals.

Team Scores | Player Scores HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – 
  • The Gettysburg College women's golf team sliced seven strokes off its season average with a 347 
  • on the opening day of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships at the 
  • El Campeon Golf Course on Tuesday.
  • Senior Kara McNulty (Flemington, N.J./Hunterdon Central) carded an 82 to finish
  •  in a seven-way tie for 28th out of 110 individuals. 
  • McNulty tied for the first-round lead with three birdies coming 
  • on the first, fifth, and 12th holes.

  • Freshman Nicole Petrocchi (Whitehouse Station, N.J./Hunterdon Central) finished 
  • one stroke behind McNulty with a season-low 83 to tie for 35th. 
  • Petrocchi finished among the leaders by shooting 3-over on par fours. 
  • She tallied one birdie on the par-4 11th.
 Round two kicks off at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday. The Bullets tee off at 1:05 p.m.
