Philadelphia Area Parents: OPEN INVITATION to Introduce Your Daughter to GOLF From the Womens Golf Association of Philadelphia

An  invitation to all junior girl golfers, up to age 17, to attend the Junior Girls Fun Day!  

The event is scheduled for May 26 at Philadelphia Cricket Club (Militia Hill) from 5-7 p.m.

 putting, chipping, skill games & instruction by local PGA Professionals!

Philly Girls Golf is an organization that provides an affordable golf program to Philadelphia regional girls with the opportunity to gain competitive experience and socialize in a friendly and encouraging environment.  More info »

The Philly Girls Tour is a series of 9-hole, 18-hole, and 36-hole “Junior Golf Scoreboard” (JGS) ranked tournaments.  Girls from 10 -18 years old may compete in either 9-hole or 18-hole tournaments.  College bound players may receive JGS ranking points in the 36-hole JGS Regional ranked tournaments.  Play in one tournament or play in them all.  More info

  • 18-hole Tournaments:  13-15 Year Division & 16-18 Year Division

Women Golfers Give Back

Women Golfers Give Back supports golf programs for girls in the greater Philadelphia region that encourage personal development through unique opportunities for skill building, playing and competing. Exposure to golf and all of the character-building aspects of the game will lead to greater educational and career opportunities but most of all - a whole lot of fun!  More info »

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf OF VALLEY FORGE, PA , a developmental junior golf program for girls ages 7-17, was formed to create a network for girls to learn to play golf, build friendships and sample competition in a positive and supportive learning environment. The only national initiative of its kind just for girls, the program provides the opportunity to achieve success, progress in golf and establish a life-long interest in the game. Girls work with an LPGA or PGA instructor to learn the basics in rules, etiquette, full swing, short game and putting.  More info »

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is a non-profit organization aimed at increasing quality and appropriate competitive playing opportunities for junior girls' golfers. Based in Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers low cost, nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 400 members in 2014 and more than 300 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
