Capping Off Successful Four-Year Run With Girls Go Golfing At Raritan Valley Country Club


The quartet of Lizzie Venditti, Kaitlin Flynn, Marissa Castaldo and Nicole Petrocchi combined to win the final Girls Go Golfing event last Tuesday at the Raritan Valley Country Club. It was the ninth scheduled GGG outing of the season capping off a successful four-year run. 

Venditti, Flynn and Castaldo (all of Raritan Twp.) and Petrocchi (ReadingtonTwp.) turned in a 9-hole score of 40 adding a birdie on number seven. 

Sarah Potter, Hayley Katz and Rachel Saperstein (all of Bridgewater Township) and Katie Lee (Raritan Township) completed eight holes in 33 with a birdie on the seventh hole.

In the 7-hole competition, the team of Celena Stoia, Lauren Magro and Emily Magro (all of Raritan Twp.) and Jessie Reed (New Hope) turned in a 34, while the trio of Julia Apsel, Sydney Smit and Sarah Upwood (all of Glen Gardner) and Juliet Lardieri (Raritan Twp.) carded a 25 for six holes.

The final GGG Tournament also served as a food drive to benefit the Flemington Food Pantry.
